The story
At the centre of this vintage carpet sits a large diamond, one of the oldest Amazigh signs, standing for the female body, fertility and the hope of a peaceful, prosperous future. Inside it, a cross-shaped medallion holds a small flower at the very heart: in Amazigh tradition, a cross within a diamond is the world kept in order, with a guardian watching over it.
Deep blue and teal surround the diamond like a calm sea, and warm orange and rust frame it like the glow of a sunset. Hang it above a sofa or bed, or lay it where you gather.
Certificate of Provenance
This carpet, Talisman, was made entirely by hand and is entered in the Aeternus register in perpetuity.
