The story
A celebration in the Sahara after dark, seen from above. The black field is the night, the triangles are the tents, and the zigzag bands are the dunes. The star at the centre is the fire where everyone gathers to share food, music and stories.
In Amazigh weaving the triangle also stands for protection, so every tent shelters the people inside. Its black ground and warm terracotta and peach tones suit almost any room.

This carpet, Gathering, was made entirely by hand and is entered in the Aeternus register in perpetuity.
