The story
A hand-woven runner in colours drawn from nature: indigo blue, wine red and burnt orange from madder root, mustard gold from pomegranate skin. The creams and darks are the wool's own tones.
The border is a patchwork of squares, each like a field seen from above in a different season. The centre is embroidered by hand with fine diamonds, the symbol of protection. Place it in a hallway, and every step becomes a walk through the countryside.
Certificate of Provenance
This carpet, Path of the Atlas, was made entirely by hand and is entered in the Aeternus register in perpetuity.
