A Thousand Mornings

Chevrons that echo mountain paths, diamonds that guard the home, and checkerboards that recall the fields and market days. Blocks of colour, red like the earth after rain, blue like the evening sky, saffron like the sun on the Atlas, were joined piece by piece, the way a family's days are stitched together.

Each tuft of wool is tied one knot at a time, then set beside flat-woven sections in natural cream and brown.
